Chinook Medical Gear introduced the LEMK-OR (Officer Response) Medical Kit. Weighing only 11.2 oz., the streamlined kit is small enough to be worn at all times on either a duty belt, tactical vest or while in plain clothes. The sleek designed LEMK-OR features a unique one-handed opening system for rapid deployment of effective medical supplies to treat severe bleeding, including:
- (1) CAT Tourniquet
- (1) 4-inch Israeli Compression Bandage
- (2) Tactical Defender Nitrile Gloves
- Includes enough space for your preferred hemostatic
After a traumatic injury, uncontrolled hemorrhaging attributes to over 35-percent of pre-hospital deaths. Early hemorrhage control is necessary to increase survivability from traumatic injuries that occur during catastrophic events such as car accidents, active shooter, or mass casualty incidents. As the first on the scene, law enforcement can find themselves cut off from paramedic support, but with the proper supplies on hand can provide lifesaving treatments for themselves, an injured partner or victims.
“Our design team focused on end user feedback to create a compact, streamlined kit that fits onto a patrol officer’s duty belt or other space restrictive area,” explains Jessica Denison, COO with Chinook Medical Gear. “Officers can have confidence knowing a trauma kit is within reach, but without being unnecessarily bulky or cumbersome.”
The LEMK-OR’s clamshell case features a zipper closure with a one-handed opening system that works by simply grabbing the opening loop and pulling it up, out and then down for easy access to supplies. The compact and organized kit also has enough extra room to include a hemostatic agent, such as QuikClot.
Constructed with rugged Cordura fabric featuring MOLLE compatible PALs webbing and a 2-inch x 2-inch loop square on the exterior for patch identification.
