UPDATE: The trail has already begun, numerous eye witnesses along interstate highways have received speeding tickets.

Original Story: Officials say a law enforcement robot has escaped control over night during transport across the country.

Albuquerque, New Mexico - The company International Dynamic Intelligence and Operational Technology Solutions announced the development of an android built for police work. The Advanced Robotic Law Enforcement and Police Officer Android Rover (ARLEPOAR) broke its safety restraints and left the transport truck in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.

Company representative and President of Public Information and Marketing, Melissa Lafitte-Blankenship reports that no one was injured in the escape. CEO Dr. Zanzibar Forrester Smith has refused to comment.

“We are deeply concerned over the status of our Arnie [the given nickname],” said Blanekship. “It was developed to run autonomously using various methods to recharge it’s batteries – clean energies like solar power, kinetic energy redistribution and others were are not willing to disclose at this time. “This is not a waiting game. An active search is underway. Finding our property is our number one priority.”

Programmers who wish to remain anonymous say they don’t understand the concern as “Arnie was built for law enforcement…it would more than likely seek out crime.”

The ARLEPOAR is heavily armed with a wide range of less-lethal and non-lethal weapons. Blankenship warns to not willingly approach Arnie.

The company, International Dynamic Intelligence and Operational Technology Solutions may be best known for the failed work done in importing a person’s consciousness into a software program, as depicted in the 1970’s documentary “The Villains You’ll Never Hear About” by the late-documentarian Tad Hershel.
