Applications are now being accepted for the position of Police Officer.
Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma plus one or more of the following:
Knowledge acquired through a minimum of 60 credit hours in an associate or baccalaureate educational program.
Two years of full time experience as a certified police officer at the time of appointment.
Four years of active military service with an honorable discharge.
A Bachelors degree is desirable.
Candidates shall have no body art, tattoos, intentional scarring or mutilation that would be visible while wearing a short sleeve uniform.

The City of Concord is seeking to fill six current police officer vacancies and create a roster for additional anticipated vacancies. Consolidated testing for candidates from outside New England will be offered to a limited number of lateral candidates on the basis of education and experience.
