Nov. 21--A man in cardiac arrest at a Hauppauge law office was revived Monday by three police officers, Suffolk County police said.
In a Wednesday news release, police said they received a 911 call shortly after 2 p.m. about a man, 57, passed out in a hallway of an office on Motor Parkway.
Fourth Precinct officers Victor Federico and Erickson Coquinco, along with members of the Central Islip-Hauppauge Volunteer Ambulance Company, responded and began to administer basic life support, police said.
Police Officer Thomas LaFemina, a paramedic and member of the department's Medical Crisis Action Team, then arrived and administered advanced life support and delivered two shocks from a portable Automatic External Defibrillator, the release said.
The man's pulse was restored and he was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, police said. A police spokeswoman Wednesday said she did not have an update on the man's condition.
