More Info on EarHero
earHero earphones were invented and patented by husband and wife clinical audiology team, Matt and Mali Murphy, who are in private practice in Boise, Idaho. The product has been in research and development for over 8 years.
earHero earphones were originally designed for the government security industry as a listening device to replace the standard coiled tube that is worn by personnel in the FBI, Secret Service, and military. This is still a large part of the earHero business but just recently earHero expanded its market to include any listener of earphones who wants to hear their music or phone and still maintain complete awareness of their environment at the same time.
earHero earphones are focused on SAFETY allowing the user to listen to their radio and still maintain constant awareness to sounds around them. The earHero earphones use tiny hearing aid quality speakers that are small enough to fit into the ear canal but not so large that they block out outside sounds like the standard earphones that are available on the market today. earHero earphones are comfortable and can be worn all day and are extremely discrete so the user can wear them without being noticed. They use a unique soft tail called the concha lock, which is designed to lock the small speaker in the ear canal keeping it in place during strenuous activities. earHero speakers are placed into the ear canal and out of the way of perspiration making them virtually sweat proof.
earHero maintains a full line of accessories including a Bluetooth clip (which has a mic and multi-function button for answering calls, controlling music, and volume control). For the security community, earHero Sales, Inc. is a distributor of many styles of 2-way radio mic/speaker combinations as well as a special adapter that can connect the earHero earphones to most any 2-way radio.
