Officer Down: Special Agents Laura Schwartzenberger and Daniel Alfin

FLORIDA-While executing a search warrant on February 2, 2021, in Sunrise, FL, Special Agents Schwartzenberger and Alfin were shot and killed. The search warrant was part of a child pornography investigation. Upon entering the suspect's apartment, the suspect fired, shooting five agents total, killing Special Agents Schwartzenberger and Alfin and wounding the other three agents. The suspect was found later, deceased. 

Special Agent Schwartzenberger served with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 15 years and was assigned to the Miami Field Office Innocent Images National Initiative.
