OFFICER Media Group Announces New Valor Awards Program

The OFFICER Media Group is proud to announce that we are launching a new program in 2025 designed to recognize and honor those officers from across our nation who have gone above and beyond the call of duty, demonstrating exceptional courage in the performance of their duties. The OFFICER VALOR Award nominees aren’t selected by our staff or supporters, but must come from YOU, our readership.

There is no cost to submit a nomination, but all nominations must be submitted no later than July 25^th, 2025. Winners will be notified by email on August 22, 2025 and announced in the September/October issue of OFFICER Magazine on or about October 10, 2025.

The officer being nominated must have performed whatever actions inspired the nomination some time between January 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025. If you are nominating an officer, be sure to include the necessary information regarding the specifics of the officer’s performance that made you feel that the performance was beyond the “normal call of duty.” What did they do that was so above and beyond that you are moved to nominate them?
