    A new agreement between New York State officials and striking correction officers reinstates dozens of officers, but the union has refused to sign the new deal.
    Roughly 10 New York corrections officers were fired over the weekend as officials began enhanced penalties against striking workers, and some officers also could lose their health insurance.
