The Lauderdale County sheriff’s office on Wednesday released new surveillance video of Vicky White’s patrol vehicle captured moments after she escorted a capital murder suspect on his escape from the county jail.
The video shows White’s vehicle at the intersection of Cox Creek Parkway and Huntsville Road shortly at 9:49 a.m. Friday, only minutes after the two left the jail.

The capital murder suspect, Casey White, was in the vehicle as Vicky White, an assistant director at the jail, drove.
Vicky White and Casey White, who are not related, drove from the jail to Florence Square shopping center near the intersection where the new video was captured.
The patrol vehicle was left in the parking lot, and Vicky White and Casey White left the scene in a different vehicle — a 2007 rust-colored Ford Edge with an unknown license plate.
“It is unknown what license plate is on the vehicle, or if it even has a license plate. There is minor damage to the rear left bumper,” the U.S. Marshals Service said Wednesday.
A warrant was issued Monday for Vicky White’s arrest for permitting or facilitating an escape in the first degree, which is a Class C felony. Though she had told Sheriff Rick Singleton her final day at the jail was Friday before retiring, the sheriff said Wednesday she has been fired from her job.
Lauderdale County officials have said that inmates at the jail told them Vicky White and Casey White had a “special relationship” while Casey White was at the jail.
Vicky White recently bought the AR-15 and shotgun they are thought to be armed with, authorities said. However, their relationship has likely been going on for up to two years.
