Officer Down: Deputy Sheriff Christopher Wilson Knight

 GEORGIA-Deputy Sheriff Christopher Knight, of the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, died April 6, 2021. Deputy Knight was moving a prisoner in the early hours of the morning with another Deputy after the inmate made suicidal comments. The prisoner began fighting with the deputies and was able to get ahold of Deputy Knights' knife. He then stabbed both deputies.

 Deputy Knight was taken to the local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later. 

 Deputy Knight served with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office for three years and is survived by his child and mother.
