Officer Down: Officer Brent Nelson Hall

NORTH CAROLINA-Officer Brent Hall, of the Newton Grove Police Department, died April 3, 2021. He was killed in a car accident while he was driving his patrol car. At approximately 6:40 in the evening, he suffered a medical emergency which caused his patrol car to accelerate, leaving the roadway. The vehicle struck a utility pole. Officer Hall suffered blunt force trauma.

Officer Hall served with the Newton Grove Police Department for two years and had been in law enforcement for five.
