GEORGIA-Officer Joseph Burson, of the Holly Springs Police Department, died on June 16, 2021. Officer Burson was dragged by a car during a traffic stop at night. He had stopped a vehicle when the driving tried to flee, driving the car, and dragging the officer. The officer was able to shoot the suspect but succumbed to injuries from being dragged. The suspect died.
Officer Burson served with the Holly Springs Police Department for eighteen months.

Hilary Rodela is currently a Surveillance Officer, a former Private Investigator, a former Crime Scene Investigator, and Evidence Technician. She worked for the Ruidoso (NM) Police Department as well as the Lubbock (TX) Police Department.
