TEXAS-Police Officer Lewis "Andy" Traylor, of the Austin Police Department, died July 31, 2021. Officer Traylor was involved in a vehicle accident a few days prior while responding to a call. As he was on his way to the call, a tractor-trailer tried to make a U-turn and the officer was unable to stop in time to avoid crashing. His patrol vehicle was pinned underneath the tractor-trailer. Officer Traylor was taken to a nearby hospital where he remained on life support for a few days. He later passed away.
He was a Navy veteran and served with the Austin Police Department for 9 years. He is survived his wife and children.

Hilary Rodela is currently a Surveillance Officer, a former Private Investigator, a former Crime Scene Investigator, and Evidence Technician. She worked for the Ruidoso (NM) Police Department as well as the Lubbock (TX) Police Department.
