Driver Accused of Ramming Cruisers at HQ, Gouging Mich. Deputy's Face
- The son of a retired judge crashed into two Bay County sheriff's cruisers at the agency's headquarters. As he was taken into custody, the man kicked a deputy and gouged at a lieutenant's face and eye.
An Albuquerque woman was arrested after allegedly smashing the windows of multiple police and city vehicles in Downtown on Monday.
Danielle Magee, 48, is charged with criminal damage over $1,000. She was booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center and was ordered released on her own recognizance.
On Tuesday, Magee pleaded not guilty to another criminal damage charge from December 2024, when she allegedly used a "large rusty metal object" to damage a police vehicle, according to court records.
A warrant had been out for Magee's arrest since that incident.
On Monday, the Albuquerque Police Department received a call about Magee using a "blunt object" to damage police vehicle windshields outside APD headquarters, according to a criminal complaint filed at Metropolitan Court.

NYPD Searching for Suspect who Slashed Tires on 19 Police Vehicles
- A suspect is being sought on a charge of criminal mischief in connection with 19 NYPD cruisers that were vandalized while they were parked outside the department's Traffic Control Division.
In total, Magee allegedly damaged 20 government vehicles, resulting in more than $1,000 in damages, the complaint states. Magee told police she did not want to talk about the incident.
In March 2023, Magee was charged with multiple counts of criminal damage after reportedly using a baseball bat to smash over 40 vehicles — including eight city vehicles — but that case was dismissed in May 2024 due to her being found incompetent to stand trial, court records state.
Court records show Magee has been charged several times since 2022 with vandalism, trespassing and criminal damage — often defacing Albuquerque police buildings and vehicles. She has been found incompetent to stand trial in the majority of those cases, while others were dismissed "in the interests of justice."
