Metro Forecasting Models, LLC is a land use modeling and planning consulting firm based in Bonita Springs, Florida. Metro Forecasting Models was established in 2015 to provide reliable forecast data so local governments can confidently represent their community’s future. The firm’s signature planning tool, The Interactive Growth Model® (IGM), has been used for over 35 years to forecast increasing community needs resulting from land development. The IGM produces the most accurate long-range forecasts available on population, housing, commercial demand, and demographic and socioeconomic characteristics for long-range planning. The founders of Metro Forecasting Models, Paul Van Buskirk, PhD, FAICP, PE and David Farmer, AICP, PE have over 60 years of combined experience in civil engineering and community planning.
