Ancom offers NoTrac, a trackless high density mobile storage system from SpaceNow! Corp. The carriages in the trackless system are guided by a single channel, rather than a set of tracks on the floor. The channel is attached to the floor along a wall, or directly to the wall itself at floor level. NoTrac has been designed for medical, retail and general file and storeroom applications, as the system is meant to be used on hard, smooth floors. Carriages ride on 3-inch diameter, non-marring, urethane-rimmed, ball-bearing wheels, especially designed not to damage floors. The carriages accept any type of filing and storage shelving, and can support up to 675 pounds per linear foot of carriage length. NoTrac comes in depths for letter and legal, or other similar sized shelving. The system can be easily moved manually or with a mechanical drive.
