At PSE: UNIPOWER Showed Law Enforcement It's Latest Powerful Backup Plan

June 25, 2019 - ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The 7,000+ law enforcement professionals that attended the 33rd annual Police Security Expo had a chance to witness what many state police organizations have already installed—the most efficient, reliable and complete power systems from UNIPOWER, a global leader in power products for mission-critical industrial applications.

Visitors to Booth 1235 (Let’s Think Wireless), conveniently located in the center of the Atlantic City Convention Center on July 25 and July 26, were be able to get a close-up look at UNIPOWER’s world-class power systems, including the Aspiro and Guardian series. The products include high-efficiency rectifiers, battery chargers, inverters and others specifically designed for use in law enforcement and security settings, as well as in the telecom, energy, power utility, and cable industries.

For example, the Aspiro 1U 45 Amp DC Power System is a 1RU high 19” rack-mounted, integrated solution providing an output of -48VDC. The system can accommodate 1 or 2 Aspiro family high efficiency hot-swap rectifiers.

UNIPOWER’s new Guardian Bulk M42 series is a 10RU high 19” rack-mounted DC power system that provides a bulk output of -48VDC. They incorporate six rectifier shelves with up to 23 Guardian family high-efficiency hot-swap rectifiers, with a maximum total current of 1200A (N+1). The rectifiers of the Guardian Bulk M42 series are internally fan cooled with speed control and feature ACX advanced controller monitoring to prevent system failures.
