Zetron hosted its seventh annual “Shoot for the Stars” golf tournament to benefit the Behind the Badge Foundation ―an organization who honors and assists Washington State’s injured and fallen law-enforcement officers and their families. This year’s tournament raised $27,000 through a combination of sponsorships, donations, event fees and contributions from Zetron and its employees, with all proceeds going to Behind the Badge. This brings the total Zetron has raised over the past seven years for Behind the Badge to $147,000.
Over 150 participants joined in to show off their support and golf swings. Attendees included Takao (Tak) Tsuji, President & CEO, JVCKENWOOD Corporation and Naokazu (Neil) Kurihara, COO Americas, JVCKENWOOD Corporation, along with a host of emergency first responders, law-enforcement officers, and public-safety personnel from agencies throughout the state. Also on hand were celebrity golfers, Sonics legend Slick Watts, former Seahawk, Alonzo Mitz.
“We’re honored to continue to host such a successful event benefitting Behind the Badge,” said Zetron President and CEO, Brent Dippie. “This year was no exception. It’s always great to see everyone come together, have fun and make a difference. We want to thank everyone who helped plan the event, our sponsors and those who participated.
