Zetron Joins L3Harris Technologies’ Mission Critical Alliance to Accelerate Advancement of Interoperable Public Safety Technologies
Redmond, WA USA, August 13th, 2019 – Zetron, a global leader in integrated mission critical communications technology, today announced its membership in the L3Harris Technologies Mission Critical Alliance (MCA), a consortium of public safety technology providers with a common goal of advancing the capabilities, compatibility and security of mission critical solutions.
The MCA is a partner program for leading technology vendors offering products and services that are complementary to L3Harris’ core network and radio platforms. Alliance members explore technology synergies, furthering the development of interoperable communications in a connected, Internet of Things (IoT) environment.
Zetron’s MCA membership enables L3Harris to offer Zetron’s leading next generation mission critical dispatch solutions, including MAX Dispatch and ACOM Command & Control, to its customers worldwide. From small public safety and emergency response agencies, to the largest and most complex command and control centers in transportation, utilities, healthcare and other environments where geo-dispersed communications are paramount to mission critical operations, Zetron’s next generation dispatch solutions have been proven reliable for nearly forty years.
“By bringing together market leaders from across different technology sectors with a shared mission to deliver best-of-breed, interoperable communications, L3Harris is helping facilitate a new landscape of collaboration that will benefit all the mission critical markets the members collectively serve,” said Gary Stidham, Vice President of Product Management at Zetron. “Interoperability and innovation have been central to Zetron’s customer mission since 1980, so we’re excited to be a part of the MCA and to work with L3Harris and other MCA members going forward to bring innovations to market that will save lives.”
In addition to its next generation dispatch technologies, the partnership also provides L3Harris customers access to new robust operational functionalities, including communications that help first responders save critical time with Zetron’s MAX Fire Station Alerting solution. Integration enables MAX Fire Station Alerting to deliver key features, such as alerts, text-to-speech announcements, reader board notifications, station I/O controls, and alert confirmations directly from L3Harris consoles and systems.
Other solutions-centric integrations and collaborations between L3Harris, Zetron and other MCA member organizations are also in planning and development, with additional announcements anticipated in the future.
