    The Collarset III, from Television Equipment Associates, is a low profile "one-wire" system with an acoustic tube and a comfortable earpiece with a non-occluding ear mold. This allows the law enforcement officer to monitor the radio discretely but yet still hear normally around the area, allowing a complete situation awareness during covert and undercover operations. Its radio repeater is not outwardly heard which facilitates covert radio transmission. The CollarSet III has been designed for several mission types such as undercover operations, mobile surveillance, pre-raid surveillance among many others.
