Trident Micro Systems' Comm-Tac provides immediate interoperability between disparate communications systems. In fact, four different frequencies are provided interoperability via iOPT Comm-Tac. A fire department radio is connected to Comm-tac Port 1; a police department radio is connected to Port 2; an ambulance radio on Port 3; and utilities on Port 4. Fire and police are in Group A while ambulance and utilities are in Group B. Comm-Tac is an affordable and extremelyeasy-to-use package with no special operator training or experience required. Designed for mobile or fixed use, Comm-Tac connects easily to existing radios. Push-button operation provides the ability to rapidly establish interoperability talk groups. At the press of a button, up to four separate radios can be brought together in one or two talk groups.
