Raytheon Company's JPS Communications has collaborated with Clarity Communication Systems to integrate cellular push-to-talk (PTT)and land mobile radio interoperability product offerings. Using this new technology, digital PTT cellular users will now be able to instantaneously communicate with land mobile radio (LMR) users without compromising voice quality and network efficiency. This capability will be marketed to cellular service providers and public safety, enterprise, utility, education and healthcare markets. JPS Communications' radio interoperability products allow disparate communications devices to communicate. Using PTT connections can be made immediately with no dialing, ringing or waiting for a phone to be answered.
