Easy To Get Wireless has just released the new “Strike Team” speaker microphone under the “Code Red Headsets” line for public safety.
The “Strike Team” is manufactured to meet the rugged military specification 810F, which includes; drop testing, vibration testing, pull test on the cable, and dust proofing. The “Strike Team” also meets IP67 waterproof criteria for waterproofing that includes a salt spray test and submersion under 1 meter (3.28 feet) of water for 30 minutes.
Other features of the “Strike Team” include a convenient high/low volume control, and earpiece jack to divert the audio directly to the ear.
Most push to talk buttons have one switch in the middle of the PTT button that activates the microphone. The “Strike Team” has a full function button that activates the button from any location, including the corners and edges.
This is especially critical for someone using gloves that may have difficulty locating the center of conventional PTT button.
The “Strike Team” can also be ordered with the optional antenna and emergency button. Connectors are available for Harris/MaCom, Motorola and Kenwood brand radios.
