Minox USA announces two new binoculars with extreme light-gathering power. The BL 8x56 and BL 13x56 binoculars are lightweight, just over 2 pounds. With its high-magnification, the BL 13x56 is well-suited to observe detailed objects at long distances. Both rugged BL models provide a secure comfortable grip with rubber armoring and ergonomic design. Minox's newly developed, light-grasping optical system uses multi-coated lens elements to deliver high optical performance and natural color rendition. Phase-correction coating on the roof prisms ensures high-detail rendition and rich contrast even in poor light conditions. Nitrogen filling prevents fogging, even with extreme temperature variations. Both BL models are watertight to 5 meters and have an extended eye pupil for those with eyeglasses.
