Allen-Vanguard introduces its enhanced visual search kit (SKM) to assist security, drug and contraband search teams. This portable kit is developed to provide the rapid searching of venues, vehicles, aircrafts or ships of any size. The portable SKM includes a side-viewing endoscope for searching remote areas, with a 10-watt halogen lamp in its tip providing bright illumination that aids inspection. Power for the endoscope is supplied from a secondary socket in the fluorescent hand lamp with the kit. The SKM kit also includes search mirrors with a long telescopic model for inspecting otherwise inaccessible areas. Interchangeable mirrors, light probes and illuminated magnifiers are included. The kit is supplied in a protective foam-lined carrying case complete with batteries and replacement lamps.
