Night Vision Camera - Pocket Scope

Nov. 4, 2010

This digital night vision camera from Covert Systems was designed in a pocketscope configuration. Nearly a plug and play device, it requires four AA batteries and adjustment of the focus, and officers are ready to see and record the drug buys or other similar type operations. The built-in illuminator is good for about 100 yards, but for longer range, just add the company's covert 940 IR illuminator. With the video output feature, officers can plug in the large monitor, and see a lot more detail. The unit has a built-in video recorder that can record video or snap shots for 3.7 hours. The video format is AVI/JPG. This unit will be part of the new "Officer Safety Kit."
