Night Vision Devices is pleased to announce our newest product, the XLR-14 Night Vision Monocular . This system is a standard AN/PVS-14 which has been upgraded to include a high power infrared laser illuminator, which can be focused from a flood setting all the way down to a pinpoint. This feature allows the end user to have high visibility during the lowest of light conditions, while also having the capability to pin point targets to other team members when in the pin point mode. The XLR-14 is also available with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Rail, which can be used to mount a red dot type day optic for CQB use when the system is installed on a weapon.
The PVS-14 is a versatile, high performance system designed to assist viewing during night-time operations, while being hand-held, helmet or weapon mounted. The user can retain their night-adapted vision in one eye while viewing their surroundings through the illuminated eyepiece.
