JVC Professional Products Company, a division of JVC Americas Corp., announced the TK-C2301WPRU vandal-proof dome analog security camera and the TK-C8301RU box analog security camera with integrated lens, both of which are optimized for True Day/Night entryway surveillance. Previewed at ASIS 2012 in Philadelphia, the new cameras are equipped with built-in IR LEDs that are optimized specifically to illuminate a wide area at night and expose detailed subjects at close range without white-out reflection.
Both analog cameras deliver 600 TV lines of resolution with a 1/3-inch IT CCD imager and a newly developed 14-bit digital signal processor for high-quality images and an industry-leading S/N ratio of 52dB. With JVC’s Super LoLux technology and Clear 5 Meter IR LED, the cameras provide precise color reproduction, even in virtual zero lux. Plus, JVC’s ExDR (extended wide dynamic range) Plus technology automatically produces clearer images for both bright and dark areas.
JVC’s exclusive Fine Focus adjustment technology allows a more accurate focus adjustment, while a new “area” white balance can apply auto white balance to a specific part of the picture. Additional features include automatic gain control and electronic shutter, auto black adjustment, 3D noise reduction, four area patterns for backlight compensation, motion detection, privacy mask, and 2x digital zoom. The IP66 compliant TK-C2301WPRU also offers triple axis rotation for flexible lens angle adjustment. Plus, an optional heater unit allows the camera to be used in temperatures down to -22 degrees Fahrenheit.
The TK-C8301RU has a suggested list price of $460 and the TK-C2301WPRU is priced at $575. Both cameras are currently available.
