According to IWCE Report: 40% of the Public Safety Use Drones in the Field
Atlanta, IWCE, Feb 14th, 2020 - the leading event for the critical communications ecosystem surveyed over 597 professionals working within the industry to understand how drones are currently being used. The commercial drone industry is expected to be $13 billion by 2025 and the report found that already 40% of the Public Safety sector now report using drones.

IWCE program director Stephanie McCall comments, “Drones have been one of the most compelling technological developments to hit the critical communications industry in recent years. We wanted to understand how the sector intended to use drones as we are now beginning to see their use in real-world applications and expect to see their use become more commonplace.”
For the first time ever, the IWCE will be hosting an outdoor drone demonstration area at their annual event this year in Las Vegas, March 30th which will be showcasing a wide range of commercial drones.
