After a suspect in a stolen vehicle fled a traffic stop, Santa Fe police deployed a drone to locate the driver, and the arrest was captured on an officer's body camera.
Body camera footage captured New Mexico police officers using a drone to help apprehend a stolen vehicle suspect Tuesday.
The incident happened when Santa Fe police responded to a call concerning a stolen vehicle, KOAT-TV reports. When officers located the vehicle and confirmed it was stolen, they tried to conduct a stop, but the driver fled.
Police deployed a drone to search for the vehicle, and once it was found, the suspect was taken into custody. The arrest was caught on an officer's body camera.
