Vigilant Solutions’ vehicle location analytics platform, LEARN®, has expanded its reach with the integration into public records platforms to provide law enforcement agencies access to license plate recognition (LPR) data to help them solve more crimes, faster.
LEARN merges data with analytics and condenses it into meaningful results that are visually rendered to provide actionable intelligence. It is an LPR management and analytic platform that includes vehicle location intelligence. Users can search by year, make and model; identify the best location to find a vehicle, ranked; and discover associated vehicles. The platform provides a law enforcement vehicle-detection sharing network; and the ability to virtually stakeout a location for vehicle detections to generate leads to resolve pattern crimes.
In a new collaboration, Vigilant Solutions’ LPR data will be integrated into CLEAR, an investigative platform from Thomson Reuters. With this new integration, law enforcement professionals using CLEAR LPR will augment their investigations using LEARN’s vehicle location data, analytics and commercial LPR detections from across the country.
Agencies using LEARN will have access to data from other law enforcement agencies that have approved data sharing. Additionally, state and local agencies will have access to LEARN’s facial recognition capabilities, allowing them to match an unidentified face image against a list of candidates from a known gallery of booking images.
