Enforce Speed Safely from the Roadside
Maneuvering into traffic and chasing down speeders can be a dangerous and resource intensive task. ATS StreetSafe minimizes officer risk and streamlines speed enforcement. ATS StreetSafe operates much like a traditional speed enforcement handheld unit. An officer targets a vehicle and tracks its speed using the system’s internal LIDAR. However, unlike traditional systems, ATS StreetSafe would allow an officer to either proceed with a traditional traffic stop or wirelessly transmit event data for violation, evidence and citation processing. A Backend Built for Speed
ATS StreetSafe wirelessly uploads speed events through a secure connection to ATS’ proven Axsis™ Violation Processing System. The automated system promptly extracts the plate number, populates owner-registration data and sends the speed event back to the officer for review.
Once reviewed and accepted by the officer, ATS StreetSafe generates a comprehensive evidence package that includes high-resolution photos, high-definition video and pertinent violation data. A court-approved citation is then mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle.
