Thousands honored the 117 law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty in 2014 and 156 officers who lost their lives while serving in prior years sat the 27th Annual Candlelight Vigil at the memorial ground in Washington, D.C. as part of Police Week 2015. A total of 273 names were added to the memorial walls.
