National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund Receives $100,000 Donation From Tractor Supply Company Foundation
Washington, DC., July 9, 2024 – The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) has received $100,000 from Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, and the Tractor Supply Company Foundation. The donation comes as part of the retailer’s launch of its Hometown Heroes program and its $1 million donation to charity organizations supporting our nation’s military service members, veterans and first responders.
“Tractor Supply’s longstanding support for those who serve our country and communities is rooted in our Mission and Values,” said Marti Skold-Jordan, manager of the Tractor Supply Company Foundation. “We are so inspired by NLEOMF’s work in remembering those who have lost their lives protecting our communities, sharing their story, and—importantly—providing best practices to help keep officers safe and well. It’s an honor for us to contribute to the incredible impact it has had in our communities and across the nation.”
This donation will help the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund by supporting that mission to honor the fallen, tell the story of American law enforcement, and make it safer for those who serve.
“We are thankful to have Tractor Supply as a partner in supporting those who protect and serve,” said Bill Alexander, CEO of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. “NLEOMF depends on the support of corporate sponsors and partners who believe passionately in our mission. We are humbled to have been selected as part of the Tractor Supply Hometown Heroes program,” he added.

About the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund
Established in 1984, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring the fallen, telling the story of American law enforcement, and making it safer for those who serve. The first pillar of this mission, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C., honors the names of all the 24,067 officers who have died in the line of duty to date throughout U.S. history. Additionally, NLEOMF maintains and publishes comprehensive details on the circumstances surrounding official line-of-duty deaths. The Officer Safety and Wellness pillar uses that data, coupled with best-practice program models, to produce programming directed at solutions to improve survivability and enhance wellness. NLEOMF’s third pillar, the National Law Enforcement Museum (LawEnforcementMuseum.org) is committed to preserving the history of American law enforcement and sharing the experiences of service and sacrifice for generations to come.
