Florence, Alabama United States

This course is designed for all sworn law enforcement officers. It is a well known fact that one needs to be a good follower before they become a good leader. True leadership development begins with the leader’s analysis of himself/herself, and ends with the development of a great cohesive team environment. This course will begin with the students assessing their values, methods of prioritization, problem solving skills, and identifying their leadership strengths and weaknesses. The course will offer various aspects of leadership development to include: problem solving scenarios, group projects, leadership traits, developing/sharing your command philosophy, and how to hold an inclusive group meeting to address a task at hand. This course is very hands-on and inter-active with assigned tasks throughout the course of instruction. If you have any questions, please contact Terry Parker at 256-627-6882
