NEXTLEVEL TRAINING TO SHOWCASE TOP-TIER TRAINING PISTOLS AT 2014 NRAAM
Ferndale, WA – (April 1, 2014) - NextLevel Training (NLT), manufacturer of firearms training products, has revolutionized the way shooters train with the introduction of the SIRT Training Pistol™, a dedicated dry-fire training pistol that emits a laser when breaking the auto-resetting trigger. The company will be showcasing their innovative SIRT Training Pistols, to include their newest addition the SIRT 107, and SIRT AR-Bolt products at their booth (#8558) the 2014 NRA Annual Meetings, April 25-27 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN.
Introduced at SHOT Show 2010, the original SIRT 110 Training Pistol, having functional features of a GLOCK TM 17[1], is a laser-based replica pistol that allows shooters, to improve their gun handling skills such as draws, sight alignment, trigger prep, follow-through, target transitions, reloads, shooting on the move and other drills; all without incurring the prohibitive costs of ammunition and targets necessary for time spent at the range.
The new SIRT 107 Training Pistol has adopted functional features of the S&W M&P[2] model and features several key upgrades designed to meet the demanding training requirements from trainers. Shooters will notice the toggle switch has been moved from the slide to the frame and replaced with a 4-position switch. This upgrade will allow shooters to alternate among variable training modes: a full trigger prep laser activation, shot indication only, and a new features of an instantaneous initial trigger touch prep laser as well as both laser off mode. The instantaneous initial trigger touch mode activates the lower red laser when the operator even graces the trigger with their trigger finger.
Internally the trigger housing has been replaced and upgraded to further increase the SIRTs ability to take rigorous defensive tactics training abuse. The trigger adjustment system has also been simplified to allow for a single-sear tension and break force adjustment, using the same hex tool that is used on the laser windage and elevation adjustment.
“NLT’s dedication to proper firearms training has made the SIRT line of products the chosen firearm training device for many Law Enforcement and government agencies around the world.” said NextLevel Training Founder and CEO, Mike Hughes. “The new 107 model is just another step in NLT’s commitment to producing the best and most versatile firearm training devices for U.S. Law Enforcement, Military and the law-abiding citizen.”
Along with the SIRT Pistols in their assorted available colors, NLT will also be showcasing and taking orders for their SIRT-AR Bolt. The Bolt uses a laser to indicate shot placement; with two laser color choices, a red laser suited for mainly indoor use or a powerful green laser for both indoor or outdoor use. The laser is activated from the trigger in your lower and shoots down the barrel of your upper, and is adjustable through the ejector port to align with your sights or optics, making it customizable to a good majority of AR-15 lower receivers.
Manufactured in the USA with sturdy construction, NLT’s SIRT training products look and feel like live fire devices by matching the size, weight, and center of gravity of live fire products.
