The EVACpro for Scott Emergency Escape Respirator is an air-purifying, emergency escape back-up respirator developed specifically for Scott-O-Vista, AV-2,000 and AV-3,000 SCBA facepieces. EVACpro is designed to assist immediate escape in an emergency situation if a Scott SCBA user is involved in an out-of-air situation. From DuPont, the EVACpro provides 15 minutes of respiratory protection against smoke, particulates and toxic fire gases, including carbon monoxide. It attaches quickly and easily in an emergency without removal of facepiece, helmet, or gloves. Simply disconnect the regulator and attach canister to its place. It is small and light for maximum portability; each unit comes with Nomex/Kevlar carrying pouch.
