Ken Mekeel is a Public Safety Business Development Specialist and Law Enforcement Liaison for LexisNexis Risk Solutions, working closely with public safety agencies to develop technology solutions that meet their needs. Ken joined LexisNexis Risk Solutions after serving for more than 34 years in the New York City Police Department as an active duty law enforcement officer. He retired as Inspector and Commanding Officer for the NYPD Real Time Crime Center (RTCC), a state-of-the-art command center with citywide responsibility for providing immediate and comprehensive intelligence on criminal and terrorist activity through a complex network of digital and surveillance data.
