AirClean Systems' DrySafe evidence cabinets provide a secure area for drying wet or bloody items during evidence processing. Seamless polypropylene cabinet construction, locking 0.375-inch polycarbonate doors and sturdy case tag hasps maintain evidence chain of custody during cabinet use. Polypropylene does not rust, and can be cleaned with virtually any disinfectant.
The ductless design of DrySafe cabinets allow placement in virtually any location, eliminating the need for ductwork connected to an HVAC system. Simply plug in to a 110V or 220V power supply, and the cabinet is ready for use. AirSafe automatic safety controller controls the cabinet’s blowers, ensuring constant negative-pressure airflow. To prevent particulate escape when the cabinet is opened, AirSafe automatically increases blower speed.
Pre-filtration is used to scrub incoming drying air of particulate. As air moves through the cabinet and into the main filtration area, another bank of pre-filters captures any trace evidence coming off the evidence. The air first passes through HEPA filtration to protect personnel from potentially harmful bacteria and viruses, and then passes through bonded carbon filtration to capture any putrid odors associated with drying evidence. Filter condition is monitored by the AirSafe automatic safety controller, which alerts the operator when filters should be replaced.
Each DrySafe evidence cabinet comes with three collapsible/removable shelves for drying smaller items of evidence. Between cases, clean-up is simple with the included cold water hose hookup and integral waste pump.
A variety of sizes are available, ranging from small table-top units to 96-inch wide cabinets.
