Guidance Software Inc. announced the Tableau TD3 Forensic Imager, the industry's first modular, touch screen-driven forensic duplicator. The TD3 was on display at the 2012 High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) annual conference in Hershey, Pa. The color touch screen on the TD3 makes it easier and faster to start collections or to view data. The wizard-driven UI uses touch gestures to select and initiate all TD3 functions. The TD3 also includes a pop-up software touch-screen keypad for convenient alphanumeric data entry, log review or network connection setup. In addition, it supports a USB 2.0-connected physical keyboard.
