INDIANAPOLIS

Two people have been arrested, accused of smuggling hacksaw blades into the Marion County Jail as part of an elaborate escape attempt.

Police said four men -- Jeramie Seabury, 22; Norman Barker, 19; Vincent Smith, 24 (also known in court documents as Yohau or Yohan Flame); and Darryl Anderson, 25 -- used a hacksaw to try to get out a second-floor window that had been found damaged by a broomstick three weeks ago.

Deputies said they found that a piece of an inmate bed had been sawed off to create a makeshift crowbar, along with five hacksaw blades that had been slipped into the facility through the window.

On Wednesday, police arrested Amber Barker and Curtis Hawee after they said they confessed to smuggling the blades into the jail.

Barker is the sister of inmate Norman Barker and Hawee is a friend of the family, police said.

"Escape is on the mind of virtually every inmate. All they have to do with their idle time is plot and plan their escape," said Marion County Sheriff John Layton. "Consequently, we must constantly evaluate and re-evaluate our security options as well."

Seabury was charged with murder earlier this year in the

killing of a 17-year-old girl

.

Norman Barker was

arrested in July 2010

on murder and robbery charges.

Smith was arrested last month on charges of burglary, theft, arson and murder,

stemming from several crimes

. In an interview with 6News in September, he told a reporter he wanted to be referred to as "Guardian of Sacred Forces Yohan Bic Flame."

Anderson was arrested in August on gun and cocaine charges.

All four men will face additional charges.
