COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a reward of up to $5,000 to help solve two burglaries at a pawn shop where the burglars stole a total of 17 guns.
On Feb. 5, someone broke the front windows of the Qwik Cash Pawn store in Colorado Springs.
The burglars took 10 guns and an unknown amount of ammunition, according to police and ATF agents.
The same pawn shop was burglarized eight months earlier. On June 27, burglars took seven firearms.
Store manager Todd Goff told KKTV-TV that he believes the guns are being sold illegally because one of the guns from the previous burglary ended up back in his shop.
ATF agents said they believe that these two separate burglaries are related.
