Calif. Police Hunt for Two Burglary Suspects—and One is Spider-Man

Oct. 8, 2021
Video of a suspected burglary of tools released by the Campbell Police Department showed one of the suspects apparently dressed as a "not-so-friendly neighborhood" Spider-Man.

Campbell Police are looking for two men suspected of burglary and stealing various tools.

But one of them appeared to be Spider-Man.

"Not your friendly neighborhood spider-man & sidekick," the police department wrote on Twitter with a video of the suspected burglary.

The footage shows two men: one, un-costumed, walks ahead, while the Spider-Man impostor — wearing a baseball cap with his Marvel gear — jogs behind, dragging a trash can that police suspect was full of stolen property.

The incident occurred early Wednesday morning in the Santa Clara County town, on White Oaks Road near Camden, according to police.

Campbell police ask that anyone with info on the suspects call 408-866-2101.
