Thorogood's Night Recon tactical series footwear for men and women features S.T.E.P. (Surface Traction Enhances Performance) Technology -- a dual density outsole design. The combination of a super light weight EVA midsole and enhanced slip resisting outsole material provide a weightless and flexible traction. Integrated into the boot is a molded PVC unit helping to lock the heel in place promoting foot stabilization. The polyurethane zone density cushioned footbed provides a complete comfort system in any condition. The moisture-wicking Aerospacer lining circulates the air to keep feet dry and refreshed. Three styles are available -- an athletic oxford, the mid-cut hiker and the 8-inch side-zip. All models feature uppers of full-grain, polishable leather and nylon mesh, padded collars and tongues, and durable non-metallic hardware.
