Eventide now offers expanded memory options for its VR615, VR725 and VR778 call loggers. With these options, Eventide loggers can record up to 330,000 channel/hours, ensuring maximum on-board recording capacity. All Eventide loggers come standard with the ability to log 41,250 channel/hours at 13 kb/s, which translates to nearly 5 channel/years of storage. The Eventide VR615 features from 8 to 48 channels and can be expanded to facilitate up to 66,000 channel/hours; the VR725 features from 8 to 96 channels and can be expanded up to 198,000 channel/hours; and the VR778 features from eight to 192 channels and can be expanded up to 2TB of storage, which yields 330,000 channel/hours. Designed for midsize and larger public safety facilities, the Linux-based VR725 and VR778 provide a full-featured logging and archiving system that is purpose-built for mission-critical applications. Both loggers come standard with a number of invaluable features including: variable recording compression rates of 13, 16, 32, and 64 kb/s; dual 250-GB hard disks in a mirrored RAID-1 array for 41,250 channel/hours of recording; dual DVD-RAM drives for archiving, each offering 1,540 channel/hours of storage per DVD; and dual hot-swappable power supplies. The Linux-based VR615 is a two rack space standalone, scalable digital voice logger with optional front panel control. Available from eight to 48 analog channels, or 16 to 32 digital record channels, or a mix of both, the VR615 comes standard with dual 250GB hard disks in a mirrored RAID-1 array 41,250 channel/hours of on-board recording, and a single DVD-RAM for archiving.
