The Commando Helmet from United Sheild International is a low profile compact helmet with minimum target area and weight. It also incorporates new materials technology for enhanced performance and weight. Standard ballistic protection of NIJ IIIA, upgradeable to NIJ III with the Rifle Protection and fragmentation protection V50 650m/sec (2150 ft/sec) (17 gr FSP). The helmet's standard colours are Black and NATO Olive Green, yet most colours are available including a wide selection of IRR paints with different reflective signatures. Optional extras include a number of accessories including camouflage covers, face shield and visor, neck protection, belt carrying strap and a helmet bag.
