Re-outfitting Your Wool Uniform During COVID-19

May 15, 2020
Since officers aren't able to launder wool uniforms at home, several police departments needed a replacement ASAP. They reached out to Elbeco for help.

Law enforcement officers with wool-based uniforms are running into a problem: laundering these types of uniforms at home after every shift during the COVID-19 pandemic is, for lack of a better word, not feasible. A few departments reached out to Elbeco for assistance for options to re-outfit their officers.

As stated in their April 3 announcement, "[the company] was able to outfit their entire department with new, machine-washable uniforms quickly out of our US warehouse. This ensures that these professionals are able to remain where they are needed and stay safe. We at Elbeco are happy to be able to continue to serve those who protect during these challenging times."

If you are facing any challenges like this, please reach out to Elbeco for assistance.
