The MT-PRO insert brings a new level of protection and performance by adding stab protection while maintaining the high standard of comfort our customers have come to expect from the company's ballistic products. Not only does the MT-PRO meet the rigorous standards of NIJ Level IIIA, but they went even further by testing the MT-PRO’s bullet stopping capabilities against eight different types of ammunition!
The MT-PRO supplies excellent performance against close to the edge shots and complies with NIJ STD 0101.06, including the 30 minute water submersion test.
Superior Stab Protection
By integrating Dyneema® fabrics from DSM with our proven TitanSkin anti-stab technology, we were able to develop a panel that not only provided superior ballistic performance but the MT-PRO is one of the few products to be officially certified to stop the HOSDB P1 Blade at 15 Joules (<20mm) and a hypodermic needle at 5 Joules, according to VPAM KDIW 2004.
FBI statistics reveal that knives are a close second to firearms when it comes to the most common threats faced by corrections officers, law enforcement and private security personnel.
