CoolShield is a venting, wicking shirt worn under ballistic armor. CoolShield features elongated, vertical ribs in front and back. It is made to be worn under armor, in place of a normal t-shirt. CoolShield’s flexible, lightweight rib material creates spaces between vest and skin that promote ventilation, moisture transfer, and temperature regulation with standard or external carriers.
CoolShield (US Patent # 8756718 B2) was previously certified by an independent, NIJ-accredited ballistic lab to meet National Institute of Justice standards for backface deflection when worn with certified Level II-A armor.
