Wiley X, Inc. has expanded its popular Climate Control sunglass family with the addition of two
bold new models for 2014 as well as two new frame colors in popular existing styles. The new models — the WX Arrow and the WX Knife — provide a combination of clear vision, comfort and vision protection that make them ideal for a wide range of applications. With their occupational-grade vision protection and wide choice of lens options, these glasses are right at home in the most challenging workplace. At the same time, their stylish looks and versatility make these new shades perfect companions for fishing, boating, motorcycle riding or just relaxing around town. The new WX Arrow and WX Knife are also the latest Wiley X styles designed to hold the innovative RX Rim System. The Rx Rim System provides these already Rx-ready frames with expanded Rx capabilities up to +5.00 and -7.00, making these models an ideal, no-compromise solution for workers and outdoor enthusiasts who require prescription lenses.
Both these new additions feature Wiley X’s patented, removable, soft-foam Facial Cavity Seal that blocks out wind, dust and peripheral light. This design enhances the wearer’s vision over a wide range of conditions and provides a comfortable, climate-controlled environment for the eyes. The WX Arrow is offered in a wide range of configurations, including #CCARR06, featuring a bold Liquid Grey Frame paired with Silver Flash lenses with Smoke Grey Tint. Model #CCARR04 matches a distinctive Matte White frame with Smoke Grey tinted Polarized Silver Flash lenses, for sharp looking shades that provide the glare cutting performance for fishing, boating and other high-glare environments. Another model, #CCARR03, features Wiley X’s Clear lenses matched with a Matte Black frame. Model #CCARR01 is a special Black Ops Edition of the new WX Arrow, matching a Matte Black frame with Smoke Grey lenses for a stealthy look favored by law enforcement and tactical wearers. WX Arrow Model #CCARR01D pairs a Matte Black frame with Wiley X’s Rx Rim and demo lens for high Rx wearers.
The new WX Knife is offered in a range of configurations as well, including Model #CCKNI04, combining a Brown Crystal frame with versatile Polarized Bronze lenses. Model #CCKNI03 pairs a Matte Black frame with Clear lenses for workplace applications. A special Black Ops Edition of the WX Knife (Model #CCKNI01) matches an understated Matte Black frame with Smoke Grey lenses. Model #CCKNI01D, pairs a Matte Black frame with Wiley X’s RX Rim and demo lens for high Rx wearers.
In addition to these new-for-2014 models, Wiley X has added an exciting new version of its WX
Gravity — for wearers who like their vision protection combined with a bold fashion statement. The new WX Gravity Model #CCGRA02 matches a stylish Matte White frame with Smoke Grey tinted Silver Flash lenses. The ultra-popular AirRage also has a new dynamic frame color. The AirRage model 691 is now available in an eye-catching Liquid Plum frame with Smoke Grey lenses.
